More on Patches

I think we'll be taking little Patches to the SPCA. I know, I know... I just welcomed her to the family and everything and I suck. But it's a matter of what is best for her and I cannot stand the thought of her living outside while Flora and Cinders get to be in the house with us. It started to thunder and lightning last night which made me so incredibly sad for Patches.

Charlie's mom keeps saying "Sam [Charlie's niece] will probably take it.." but she already has so many animals and I think I'd rather take it somewhere it can be adopted. If we can't keep her, I bet there is a little girl out there just dying to have a kitten she can love [or maybe a nice old lady].

Charlie mentioned the SPCA first and I'm guessing that's what he wants to do so it probably is what we'll do.

That's probably the best for her hun. The SPCA will fix her and give her shots and everything before they get her adopted, right? And she's just so cute, it won't take long to find her a good family.

If only you lived in Texas, I'd take her in a heartbeat. She is so adorable! But like Jamie said, they'll get her spayed and give her all her shots. Since she's still a baby, she'll get adopted in no time.

If they would do all of that - give her her shots and spay her anyways, then I would be more than happy to take her right back home.

I don't think Charlie is against keeping her. It's that we can't afford the money to do the shots and spay right now. And I can't afford a vet bill for Flora if she gets sick because of a stray cat being around. So I can't bring Patches inside.

I go out and play with her a few times a day. She's getting much more playful already and giving me lots of love nibbles. She's very attached to me.
